Sarah Perkins

My name is Sarah Perkins, and I am a proud native Oregonian—born and raised in Salem and now raising my own family here. My husband, Brian, and I have been married for 24 years, and Salem has always been home for us. We raised our two children here, Ashley (21) and Austin (18), and continue to enjoy being part of the community that has shaped our family.

I graduated from Corban University with a degree in Psychology and began my career working for the Salem-Keizer School District, where I supported children with special needs. I later transitioned into teaching preschool at Queen of Peace Catholic School, a role that deepened my passion for helping others learn and grow. Afterward, I joined Mahonia Public Affairs, where I developed strong skills in communication, coordination, and supporting complex initiatives. In September 2025, I was hired as the Office Manager for the Salem office of Riddle Construction. In this role, I oversee day-to-day administrative operations and support the Salem team, bringing together my experience, organization, and people-focused approach to keep things running smoothly.
